| 1. Written by pauline, on 30-01-2010 10:31 I upgraded mine to the professional one with the nice coating. I've had it for about 1 1/2 years. I bought the 10 year warranty. The coating is coming off. The on/off button only turns it on. I have to unplug it to turn it off. The button never worked to turn it off. You'd think that coming from Japan it would be a better quality product than this. I called their customer service number to get a replacement now that the coating is coming off. They told me they are back-ordered and they haven't received a new shipment in a while. They should get some in next month and I need to call back. They can only replace it if they have one available. They can't enter replacement information on their computers unless it's in stock. What awful customer care! Think I'll stick to my electric curlers and off the shelf products. |

Written by michelle, on 13-10-2009 13:26 i feel your pain,my first one i got,quit on me in less then 2mths,then it took them 4 mths 2 send me another 1,then it lasted 2mths its a piece of ***,its a rip off,my boyfriend took it apart and seen that its the thermol fuse,because of how high it goes,if u keep it on longer than 10 minutes it will blow out,why did the company sale something that do that,and i sure didnt read anywhere where they told u it would do that.... |
