Compared to all these dissatisfied user reviews, after over 5 years of perfectly fine use (only 3 - 5 times a week), mine finally died. But I never put the heat on over 275 degrees even though I have frizzy hair - and 65 year old hair! It was only in this last six months did the iron shut off at will, but usually turned back on. Just this week it finally died. But I couldn't expect it to last forever. Maybe they should give me a free replacement for such a good review! But I doubt that. And now I'm supposed to say more just to have my review reviewed with at least 100 words? What's that about?

Malfunctioned and burned hair

Was using the flat iron on one of its lower setting and as I was flat ironing my hair, I smelled burnt hair, looked at my hair and it was burnt and the flat iron temperature setting was jumping back and forth between 270 and 250 but was actually hotter than that because i am typically able to flat iron my hair as hot as 325. Then it shut completely off and stopped working. The flat iron malfunctioned and caused me to have burnt bangs which I am truly disappointing because that is my hair and they pride themselves in having a better ceramic flat iron that does not damage hair like other flat irons do.

Had a problem with kiyoseki flat iron

I bought the flat iron off of the tv. They said on tv try it for 14.95 for 90 days well i thought what a great deal.

I called and ordered it. Well 4 days go by went to get money out of my checking acc here the bank told me i didnt have any money in there and i over draft. So i asked how i should have this amount in there and they told me tgat there is a with drawl of 100 some odd dollars and i said for what here it was for the flat iron. So i called kiyoseki and they told me they cant do nothing about it thats the price and thats what they are taking.

So couple of months go by i call to check my ammont in my checkking acc well im wondering why 20 dollars is missing here and there so i call the bank and they tell me why well some one in that company signed me up for this mouthly thing that is 20 a month so i told them to cancle it and refund me the money back cuz i did not sign up for that so they did.

But i can say it is the best flat iron i have gotten in all the yrs i bought them and i have had this one for 8yrs now and it did go threw a house fire. But now the color is coming off it

Defective Straightener Review

My mother bought it for me from an advertisement on tv because I HAD to have it. It arrived and was the best straightener I've ever had. Worked as it should. Kept my hair unfrizzy. Shiny. After a couple weeks it just didn't turn on. No smoking or shock or anything. Just stopped working. My mom paid 200$ and I couldnt find their number after that to contact them. But I just now did.

Iron Replace Review

Second iron in less than three yrs., just up and died. Ok first they replaced it but niw I can't figure out how to get in touch with a live person, so I can get another replacement. Aren't they suppose to last linger than that?

I paid 129.99 for kiyoseki flat iron. It stopped working within 30 days. i callled customer service constanly everyday. they are rude and you can't them to replace thier products. For a year I called them i am really disappointed in thier customer service. you think you pay that much money for a product they would treat people better and replace thier ***. They would promise everyday to send one and i knew they were lying. Because when i would call next day the new person on phone had no record of me calling. Unreal the way they lie to you.

I first saw this K-Styler on TV. and I new that I had to have one . So I ordered one. I paid $219.00 for it.at first it worked great. My hair is natural curly and severe frizzy!!!!. It was working wonderful. It had straightened my hair it was beautiful. I was so happy with it. about a couple of weeks later. I had plugged it in.And it smoked. I went and called K-Styler and they said they would replace. No problem. So I received it. and a month later still under warranty. I got up to do my hair and it would not turn on. So i went and called K-Styler again. An they told me his time that the wires were really delicate. that i had to be careful with the Flat iron. At this time I was so mad. But they told me they would replace it again. But I had to send the other one back. Which I did. So I received this one. But I had to pay a fee on it. Which I did, I was going to give it another try. I received # 3. We had went to my Moms in Fl. for Christmas in 2012. On the way their we has stopped. to clean up. An this one had smoked and blew up in my hands. At this time I was so mad. so here I am at my moms house on Christmas day. My hair was so frizzy. So on the 26th of Dec. 2012 I tried to call K- Styler.. The number that I called on my receipt ,was for a beach body company. It is the same number on your site. Oh and like and *** I paid for extra warranty for one year. But I can`t get hold of K-Styler. So I have two of them not counting the one I returned. And the money that I`m out of.

Bad customer service. It's been 2 year's & i'm still trying to get my problem fixed. I purchaced 5 flat iron's, 1 worked 4 didn't, I sent 4 back and only recieved 3 back. I sent confirmation on the 4th.one. Still haven't heard from your co. I have been trying for a year now to get someone to contact me, only to be told someone will be with you shortly. I'm complaining about this company because I had to pay $20 4 times due to the flatiron stopped working it has never been dropped and always taken care off,when I have all they tell me is send a money order and will replace it!!! It frys my hair and the timer stops working it leaves me with half my hair done then it totally shuts down! This flatiron has cost more than it's worth!!!I need to these people to take care of their customers better! It goes out on me every 4-6 months! I need some help to resolve this issue

I received a charge of $369.90 on my credit card, and did not order anything. The phone number for the company is 973-287-****. I do not know how they did this but something is wrong with this company. How can we fight this type of thing from happing to others. This company should be shut down, because of so many complaints. I had to close my credit card and go through a lot time. I still have not got my credit yet. The credit card company is trying to help out. Do not buy from this company.

I was just looking at my credit card and found a charge for 369.90. I have no idea what this company is, but the best I can tell is hair products.

I am sure that will help me out as I have no freakin hair... Oh well I will get my new card in 2 weeks.

This Mom Had to Change

I ordered this product 2 years ago for my girls that have naturally curly hair. It worked perfect when I first used it, after a while I noticed that their hair started getting serious splits completely up the hair shaft and the tips had white bulbs on their hair. For them I switched to the In Styler w/the rotating brush....all I can say is AMAZING!! Been using it for little over a year, never split ends, hair is shiny and healthy. I continued to use the K iron on myself and it over heated while in use, temperature would go up and down w/out my changing it and it finally blew up (smoke everywhere) and stopped working. My husband thought the house was on fire and was furious because of the cost of the iron. Does anyone know of a good flat iron thats safe to use and healthy, not damaging to the hair? I prefer short styles and can't use the In Styler like my girls do (wish they'd make a smaller barrel :-( ).

This is a company that does not honor warranty. You can call a million times and they always have a back order so you cannot and will not get a replacement. Where is CONSUMER PROTECTION here. I will file a lawsuit. I have called and they said they are awaiting back orders which is not true.I wish everyone can join together and file this lawsuit. Its about time the legal side of this begin.Please do not order this, it is broken easily and they will never replace it. Now they always say that they are shipping it to you and it does not happen.
